As of noon today, Union County is reporting 6 actively ill (considered infectious and in isolation) Union County residents and 77 recovered (no longer considered infectious and released from isolation). One COVID-19 related death has been reported among Union County residents. Of the 84 cumulative cases of COVID-19 that have been reported among Union County residents, 64 cases are lab-confirmed and 20 cases are are probable (9 cases are positive antibody tests) per clinical and/or epidemiologic evidence as outlined by the CDC and the Ohio Infectious Disease Control Manual. Hospitalization has been required for 8 individuals during their illness (with two individuals currently hospitalized). 6 individuals never had symptoms (asymptomatic). The illness onset ranges from Jan. 13 to Jul. 1, 2020. The age range is <1 to 89 with an average age of 41.7.
